IQ Cardio is a 30-minute, Indoor Quadrathlon, comprised of rowing, biking, running and climbing. The workout is on-demand, timer-guided, calorie-focused and low-impact. You won't find a more user-friendly cardio workout anywhere!
There are two identical circuits, or "Quads", that include a rower, bike, treadmill and a climber. Each quad is guided by a timer that alternates between 7-minute "work" periods and 30-second "move" periods. All 4 stations take 30 minutes.
Our workout is meant for most ages/abilities, and it is as challenging as you desire to make it. Rowing, biking, and climbing are all considered low-impact activities, and even our curved treadmills minimize joint stress. There is no reason to feel intimidated, as each sport can be modified to a higher or lower intensity.
Pulse-rate monitors are available onsite to track your progress, but feel free to bring your own. If you plan to use one of our monitors, you'll first need to download a heart rate app from the Apple or Google Store (we recommend the Wahoo Fitness app). Don't worry, we can help you get synced when you arrive! After your workout, we encourage you to record your results on our Calorie Wall, as an encouragement to yourself and others.
The workout is on-demand, so there is nothing to join. You simply, book online, and sign-in upon arrival Each workout costs $10.00, and includes the use of a complementary pulse-rate monitor to track your calories. That's about half the cost of most Spin, Kickboxing, Pilates, Yoga or Rowing classes!
Yes, someone is always on-site to check you in, help you out, and answer any questions. The gym is also video-monitored 24 hours/day for the safety of our staff and guests. Come give us a try! All you have to lose is calories!
